Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment through PROTX transaction services and accept Maestro, Visa and Mastercard.

Camping and Military Ltd only accept payments online by credit or debit card. We do not accept cheques.
Camping and Military Ltd assure you that we have taken every possible step to ensure that your internet transaction is completely safe and secure. Online transactions are transmitted across the internet using Secure Socket Layer encryption.

Typically, we do not debit your credit/debit card until your goods have been despatched.

Shipping And Handling

UK Mainland £4,95 delivery charge per order.
Northern Ireland and Scottish Islands £14,10 delivery charge per order.

Orders over £150.00 will be delivered free of charge.

*Please note that the Channel Islands are classed as an international destination in terms of UK delivery agencies and as such we are unable to deliver to the Channel Islands at present.

Camping and Military Ltd do not currently deliver to Eire, Europe and international destinations.

Your order will normally be despatched and delivered within 7 days of ordering, but please allow up to 28 days for delivery. In the event that we cannot deliver the goods to you within the agreed time, we will inform you as soon as possible and arrange another delivery date to suit you.

Please note that a signature may be required upon delivery of your goods. Please ensure that there will be somebody in attendance at the delivery address you give on your order. In the event that there is nobody at the delivery address, our carrier will attempt to leave the parcel with a neighbour. If that fails, the carrier will leave a card at the premises requesting you to contact them direct to rearrange delivery within 7 days.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

VAT stands for value added tax, which is charged on goods sold by Camping and Military Ltd within the European Union (EU). In accordance with the laws governing members of the European Union, Camping and Military Ltd is obliged to charge VAT on all orders delivered to destinations in member countries of the EU. In general, VAT is charged in accordance with the local legislation in each member state.

All prices quoted are in £ sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 15%) where applicable.

Camping and Military Ltd uses PROTX transaction services to process credit card payments, they encrypt all information you input using 128 bit encryption. No credit card information is stored or collected by Camping and Military Ltd.

Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally require proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

Guarantee

Camping and Military Ltd guarantee that all our products will be as described and free from defects. However, Camping and Military Ltd is not liable for compensation or any losses incurred for goods discovered to be faulty after use.

All products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from the date of receiving your order, unless otherwise specified.

Camping and Military Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy

Faulty/Damaged Goods
If you receive a product which is faulty or damaged or which you feel is not as described, you must return the product within 7 days to receive either a replacement item or a full refund. In this instance, Camping and Military Ltd will pay for the cost of returning the goods to us.

Camping and Military Ltd is not responsible for damage caused by misuse of any item. Items that have clearly been used then returned will not be refunded unless Camping and Military Ltd deem that there has been a manufacturers' fault.

Cancellations
Should you change your mind and decide you no longer want the product, you must return the product to Camping and Military Ltd unused, in its original packaging and with the manufacturer's tags still on to receive either a full refund or an exchange. You will be liable for the full cost of returning the goods to Camping and Military Ltd.

Procedure
- send an email to returns@campingandmilitary.com within 7 days of receiving your order, quoting your original order reference in the subject line. This order reference can be found on your original order confirmation email and also on your delivery note.
- state the reason for the return request in your email, include a daytime contact telephone number and state your preference for a replacement item or a refund.
- A member of our customer service team will contact you to arrange a suitable day to collect your item.
- package up your return items, preferably in their original packaging or other suitable packaging and mark the outside of the box clearly with your order number.

Camping and Military Ltd will inspect returned goods to determine whether there is a manufacturer's fault and whether the items have been used. In the event of goods being faulty, Camping and Military Ltd will either refund your credit/debit card or send a replacement item, whichever option you have chosen. In the event that goods have been returned after being used but are not found to be faulty, Camping and Military Ltd will return the items to you and charge the cost of returning the goods to Camping and Military Ltd plus the cost of redelivering the items back to you.
